When a child is receiving SSI and is the only person in the household requesting child care, the financial eligibility test is waived per policy. KEES assigns a $0 Family Share in these situations, but denies the program if the total income is over the Federal Poverty Limit maximum.
If the consumer has applied for other programs:
Enter the Income for the household.
Run EDBC any applicable programs, except Child Care, allowing the other programs to be denied/discontinued for Over Income.
Save and Accept the Failed EDBC Results for the applicable programs, except Child Care.
Remove the parent's Income record(s).
Complete the Child Care Data Collection pages, including Family Plan.
Run EDBC for Child Care.
If the consumer has not applied for other programs:
Do not enter the Income for the parent(s).
Complete the Child Care Data Collection pages, including Family Plan.
Run EDBC for Child Care.
