A Non-Compliance Type of Failure to Provide with a Reason of Social Security Number is used to apply a comparable Food Assistance Penalty when a TANF household is discontinued because a child aged 7-18 is not currently enrolled in school.
Select the Primary Applicant's Name. Use the Type and Reason mentioned above. Enter the Begin Date as the first day of the first month the non-compliance is applied, taking Timely and Adequate Notice into consideration. An End Date does not populate and nothing should be entered in the Override End Date until the child enrolls in school.
Because the Non-Compliance Type of Failure to Provide with a Reason of Social Security Number is being used, Standard Copy and Paste Text must be used.
If the child enrolls in school, the record must be edited to enter the Override End Date of the day prior to the month the Primary Applicant should be considered as an MEM in the household. See Editing or End Dating a Non-Compliance Record for guidance on detailed steps.
