Notes Section in Perceptive Content

The Notes section in Perceptive Content is an easy way to identify what kind of document was imaged to the Journaling document type without having to view each individual document. For example, if a BPM script or Income Calculation Worksheet is imaged, type BPM script or Income Calculation Worksheet into the notes section at the time document is scanned. Users can then see the notes and corresponding document type from the Perceptive Content Explorer.

To add the Notes column to the Perceptive Content Explorer window:

  1. Click on the Documents tab from the Perceptive Content Tools Bar. The Perceptive Content Explorer displays.

  2. Click View from the menu bar.  Select Columns from the drop-down menu.  The Columns dialogue box displays.

  3. Place a check mark next to Notes.  Click the OK button.

  4. The Notes column displays as one of the column headings when completing a document search.

NOTE:  The column headings can be moved left or right, by clicking on a column and dragging it to the desired location.
