ED LTC RE vs Reapply scenarios_FINALv2
When processing a review that was registered using REAPPLY instead of RESCIND staff must complete additional steps to ensure the Review process is entirely completed. Failure to do so will have negative impacts on reporting and will cause the medical program to be “skipped” by future Review batches.
Staff should be aware that when running EDBC to complete the review the “RE” run reason WILL NOT be available in the Run Reason drop down; this is because REAPPLY was used to register the review instead of RESCIND.
After saving and accepting the EDBC staff will need to:
Navigate to the Review ad IR/12 Month Reporting List page
Update the Review records Report Status to Complete-EDBC Accepted
Review the NOA
If needed staff may append the NOA.
If staff are unable to use the NOA then it MUST be deleted and a Manual NOA MUST be generated using approved copy and paste text to notify the consumer of the outcome of their review.
NOTE: If the RE Hard Stop Validation error is received when completing this process, follow Workaround RE Run Reason Validation with No RE Run Reason Available.
