A build is scheduled for tonight.  Below is a summary of what is included in the release.  

Issues We Fixed for All Staff:

ID Created in KEES with SSN that Already Exists in KEES – FIXED

KEES will no longer create a new ID for individuals that have an existing ID with the same social security number.

Non-Citizenship Record Error Message-Parolee Type – FIXED

The hard validation will no longer display for the field Parolee Type when the field doesn’t display on the Non-Citizenship Status Detail page.

Medical Programs

Medical Issues We Fixed:

Unable to Attach Document for Third Step Verification – FIXED

Perceptive Content will not time out when workers are verifying immigration documents for the third step verification.

Newborn Getting PLN/DN in Error Due to SOBRA SD Approval – FIXED

Children will no longer be approved for PLN/DN when their parent is approved for a SOBRA Spenddown.

Info Rcvd on Denied/Disc - IROD Task Generated in Error – FIXED

IROD tasks will no longer generate on cases where there is a pending application.

e-Apps Auto Registered did not Generate a Task for Workflow – FIXED

KEES will generate a task for the case once the application or review is registered through No Touch.

Premium Billing System not Updating Based on Positive Changes Made to KEES Case – FIXED

KEES will now send all positive changes to the Premium Billing System in paid months.

Batch Keeping PA Active with CTM Despite no Eligible CH in the HH – FIXED

The Medical Child Turns 19 Discontinuance Batch will close adult caretakers when their child is no longer eligible for CTM/CH/N/N benefits.

SSP Review Submitted did not Create an e-Review or a Review Task – FIXED

When an SSP review is submitted, KEES will create the e-Review Summary and a Review task.

SSP E-Review Updating OLD Review Records on the Reporting Page in Error – FIXED

Reviews submitted through a consumer’s SSP account will no longer update previous review records on the Reporting page.

Journal Entries are Duplicating – FIXED

Journal entries will not be duplicated when the Medical Child Turns 19 Discontinuance Batch runs.

Must Override EDBC Due to Age Limits for the HCBS/BI Waiver – FIXED

Staff can approve EDBC for individuals between the ages of 1 and 64 for the HCBS/BI waiver without overriding.

Medical Processing Deadlines

The KMMS Monthly Batch has been updated to run a day earlier in January and February.  Please click here for the updated KDHE Processing Deadlines for FY25

• January 22, 2025, with February monthly eligibility

• February 19, 2025, with March monthly eligibility

KanCare Proactive Communications Schedule

The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar was updated on 12/09/2024 to include holidays for the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.

• Registration Allowing PA to be Picked that is not the Case Head – FIXED

• BOT Added Application to Tracker as Expedited Blue, when it Should be an Expedited Green – FIXED

• BOT Added Case to Wrong Tracker – FIXED

• Shared Living not Recognized in Multi-Month EDBC for TANF – FIXED

• Receiving Error Message after Running eDRS – FIXED

• BOT Putting Incorrect Received Date on Tracker – FIXED

• LIEAP Application being Submitted with a Null Date of Birth and Gender – FIXED

• Residency Mapping in for LIEAP Applications – FIXED

• Missing Aide Code Related to Previous Months – FIXED
