The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar was updated on 12/09/2024 to include holidays for the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.
Auto-enrollment for the SUN Bucks program took place this past weekend. Beginning Tuesday, you will see Active SUN Bucks programs for some eligible families. There are a couple things to note:
Programs will be Active, but benefits will not issue until late April
Staff should NOT add any children to an Active SUN Bucks program block. If a family needs to apply for a child not included in the program block, they need to complete a SUN Bucks application. The application will be available January 27th at 8:00 AM.
Staff should not add, remove, or edit any records on the “Other Program Assistance Page” with the type of National School Lunch Program. All eligibility for the SUN Bucks program is contained in this record and altering or adding a record could cause benefits to be issued or denied in error.
