Address Normalization Tool
The KEES Help Desk has received reports that the Normalized Address being returned by the Address Normalization Tool is not always correct. Staff have reported seeing incorrect cities, counties, and zip codes. Staff should review the normalized address closely to ensure it is accurate before accepting it. If the Normalized Address is incorrect, please take a screenshot of both the Normalized Address and the User Entered address and submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk. Staff should then select the User Entered address.

REVISED from 2/5/2019 Dispatch: Selecting Office Location when Imaging
Tasks are not generated in KEES for the correct office location when staff image and manually select an office location to route work to an office other than the office associated to the imager’s Worker ID. It was originally believed this was limited to ImageNow Printer (IN Printer), but it is now believed to be an issue when physically scanning a document.
Due to the large volume of LIEAP applications received by the agency, EES staff are using this process to image LIEAP applications and route them to the appropriate regional LIEAP Office (Garden City, Kansas City, Topeka, or Wichita). Because of the defect, these applications are routed to the LIEAP queue, but are associated to the office location of the person who imaged the application. Due to the volume of applications EES staff are imaging for LIEAP, EES staff do not need to reassign the task to the LIEAP office. Instead, we’ve directed LIEAP staff to filter on the Task Inventory page by their region and queue instead of their office location and queue.
If staff are using this process for anything other than imaging LIEAP Applications, they should manually reassign the task to the correct office location until this issue is fixed. See Reassigning a Task in the KEES User Manual for detailed steps.
FC Youth Benefits Task
The Foster Care Youth Benefits task is not consistently generating when a child is placed in Foster Care. Until this issue is fixed, PPS staff will send an email to the local EES email address to notify staff when a child has been placed in Foster Care.
