RE Run Reason Validation Message
Recently, the RE Run Reason validation message; “Error! - The review needs to be completed” was added to KEES to prevent an EDBC from being ran without the RE Run Reason beyond the Review Due month. Currently there are situations where the RE Run Reason validation message is appearing, but the RE Run Reason is not available.
Attached is the workaround that staff should apply when they encounter one very specific scenario. For any other scenario other than the one listed in the workaround, please submit a KEES Help Desk ticket. KEES Help Desk staff need to review the scenario to ensure it is not a defect that we need to address. Once we have reviewed it, we will send the case back with the instructions on how to process the request.

Child Support Income
A child could be receiving benefits on more than one case number in split custody situations. Income records are person level, meaning they follow the person they are associated to from case to case. Child support income records should be associated to the parent who receives the income on behalf of the child if a child receives benefits on more than one parent’s case number. EDBC will pull the income into the benefit budget on both cases in error when the record is associated to the child
