Both of these ImageNow queues are experiencing a backlog due to the high volume of eApplication submissions that have been received. The INMAC Feed queue will catch up some overnight, when fewer submissions are received; however, the INMAC Error queue has to be worked manually. We will continue to provide an update on the progress of these queues.

All cases that received a benefit for March 2020 and did not already receive the maximum benefit amount will receive the Emergency Allotment. The Emergency Allotment is the difference between the maximum benefit for the household size and what they were originally eligible for.
The vast majority of cases will run through Batch EDBC using a run reason of Public Health Emergency. This run reason establishes a one-month EDBC to allow the one-time supplement to be issued but keeps the high dated EDBC as previously calculated. This run reason will also serve as a way to track the cases within KEES.
There are some situations that cannot be processed by Batch EDBC and will require a worker to use the Public Health Emergency run reason to run EDBC. This run reason should only be used by designated staff members who are working the identified cases. These cases will be prioritized by alphabetical order to align with the staggered issuance approach. These households will receive their benefits the day after the case is processed with the Public Health Emergency run reason for March 2020.
FAQs:
What if March 2020 is the initial benefit month and the household’s benefits were prorated?
The household will receive the maximum benefit amount for their household size, but the amount will still be prorated.
What if the case has an Active Recovery account? Is the Emergency Allotment based on what the household actually received or the total benefit amount before recoupment?
The total benefit amount prior to recoupment is used to determine the maximum benefit based on household size.
If the case has an Active Recovery account, will benefits be recouped from the Emergency Allotment?
If the program has an active recovery account no additional benefit reductions should occur to the Emergency Allotment.
Will a notice be mailed to the households who receive the Emergency Allotment?
Consumers will not receive any written communication. Staff will be able to see what was issued on the Issuance Detail page, EDBC Summary page and in ebtEDGE.
If Food Assistance is still Pending for March benefits when the batch runs will the household receive the maximum benefit when it is processed?
The household will receive the regular benefit amount. A weekly report will be used to manually authorize the Emergency Allotment benefit on these cases. There could be issues with the benefit amount that displays on the regular Approval NOA if staff run EDBC for the regular benefit amount and the Emergency Allotment benefit back to back.
If Food Assistance was Denied and Rescinded for March benefits will the household received the maximum benefit when it is processed?
The household will receive the regular benefit amount. A weekly report will be used to manually authorize the Emergency Allotment benefit on these cases. There could be issues with the benefit amount that displays on the regular Approval NOA if staff run EDBC for the regular benefit amount and the Emergency Allotment benefit back to back.
