The KEES Help Desk is aware of an issue impacting Income Records. Staff are seeing a new line of income generate when they attempt to add an End Date to the high-dated Income Amount Detail page. Until this issue has been fixed, staff should go back into the Income Amount Detail page and remove the end-date that was just added. This will trigger the Effective Dating Confirmation List page. Staff should click Save for the changes – this will remove the new record that was just created. Once that has been done, staff may re-add the needed End Date and no new record will generate.

Some KEES users are reporting that they are still getting 404 Errors while working in KEES. An analysis has been done and it has been found that the vast majority of the remaining reported instances have been caused by having KEES launched on multiple tabs within the browser; however that is not the only cause. Please see examples below.
Let’s say you are navigating through a case and go to click on Customer Information in the Local Navigation bar. But when you go to click on Customer Information, you also accidentally click the Ctrl button at the same time.

If your browser is set to launch in a new window, KEES launches again on a new tab, but you are still working on the original tab. This will eventually cause the tab you are not working in to time out, causing the 404 Error in the “active” tab.
Clicking on any tab or link in KEES while holding the Ctrl button down will launch KEES in a new tab.

The same thing can happen if you launch the KEES Journal or Task Details pop-out window and leave them open while you are working elsewhere in KEES.
You can also get a 404 Error if you type up in the URL line by mistake.

On occasion, we even see the 404 Error when someone is using a bad bookmark for KEES. You must be on the KEES home page when you bookmark it. If you bookmark it from within the context of a case, your bookmark will cause a 404 Error when using it.

What should you do if you continue to get 404 Errors and you have eliminated the possibility of the above culprits?
Submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk with the following information:
• Date and Time the error was received.
• Name of user who got the error.
• What action were you trying to take?
• If you are working from an office, which office are you in? If you are working remotely, how are you connected to the internet (ie hard-wired, wifi, or hotspot).
• Include a screenshot of the error exactly like the one above – make sure it includes the top section of the browser that shows the URL and what tabs you have open.
