The Social Security Administration has informed us that another state erroneously sent in large volumes of BENDEX requests for persons who use to reside in their jurisdiction. The result of which has generated tasks in our system. If you work a BENDEX SSA Different Address task and check EATSS to find “Investigate Possible Public Assistance California Last KS BENDEX” it most likely is a result of this error. Staff are finding that when a TPQY is requested, the client’s Kansas address remains on the record and that there has been no move to California. It is important to note, that only reference to California is a result of this error and that any other state showing on the EATSS record is likely a legitimate move out of state.
