KDHE Processing Deadlines for FY 2024 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
Food Assistance households with ABAWDs and/or students were mailed information today explaining how their case will be affected by the Public Health Emergency (PHE) ending. See the policy memo dated 4/4/24 for more information. Distributed Documents will be updated the evening of Monday, 5/15.
Several KEES performance issues were discussed at our last DCF KEES Advisory Group (KAG) meeting in February. However, we are having trouble recreating the items listed below in our test environments and need help from staff who use KEES. If you experience any of the issues listed below, please send in a KEES Help Desk ticket. It is important to note the time you experienced the error and/or were kicked out of the system due to one of the issues listed below. In addition, please copy the error message in your KEES Issue Template so our KEES Help Desk can properly triage the issue.
Pop Ups timing KEES out. For example, journaling in a separate pop-up window.
Slowness when navigating through a case that has a higher than average number of case people
Latency when more than 1 staff person is accessing the same case number
Adding multiple child support income records results in an error and wipes out the entries. This seems to be more likely to happen when 10 or more records have been entered.
Even though work requirements for ABAWDS have been temporarily waived due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Time Limit records should still be entered in KEES according to the guidance listed in the table below. Batches in KEES have been temporarily shut off to allow ABAWDS to receive more than 3 months of Food Assistance in a 36-month period. Making sure Time Limit records have been entered correctly will help ensure data collection for ABAWDS is accurate when there is an end to the Public Health Emergency period and ABAWD months must be tracked and counted again. The current ABAWD period is 10/2022-09/2025. Make sure Time Limit records are added to the current ABAWD period. For guidance on how to add an ABAWD period and Time Limit record in KEES, see the KEES User Manual.
