The reported issue of KIERA not adding journal entries to all impacted cases has been fixed.

Run Without Review Run Reason – When to Use

The Run Without Review Run Reason would only be used when:

  1. There is a new request for coverage, AND

  2. The program block is closed in the month of the request, AND

  3. There is at least one person who is within a Reconsideration Period and they still have not returned their review. This person would be rescinded using Rescind Without Review and the Run Without Review Run Reason would be used when processing the new request for coverage so that the person(s) who failed to return their review can be re-discontinued.

There seems to be considerable confusion around this as the KEES Help Desk continues to get tickets from staff who wish to run EDBC for 5/2023 when the household’s 4/2023 review form has not been returned.

 

Medical Journal Entry created in error by Batch EDBC – FIXED

The reported issue of Batch creating Medical Journal entries in error has been fixed.

 

Address not mapping to e-App Summary or PDF of e-App – FIXED

The reported issue of address mapping to KEES but is not on the e-App Summary or PDF has been fixed.

 

State Application task created with error in Task Details – FIXED

The reported issue of KEES creating tasks with an invalid Task Name resulting in an error in the Task Details has been fixed.  

 

KEES Tasks containing a hyphen not showing in Current – FIXED

The reported issue of KEES Tasks containing a hyphen in the name are not populating into Current has been fixed.

 

Medical Processing Deadlines   

KDHE Processing Deadlines for FY 2024 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.

Form W001- Appointment Letter – Details Disappear after Printed Centrally – FIXED

The reported issue of details disappearing like the date and time from the W001 – Appointment Letter has been fixed.

 

Child Care Approval NOA - Does not list Children’s Names – FIXED

The reported issue of the child care approval NOA not listing the child’s name has been fixed.

 

Child Care NOA populating incorrect Household Income Limits Table – FIXED

The reported issue of CC NOA’s populating incorrect HH Income limits has been fixed.  

 

Spousal Support Agreement/Modification Required Date on Income Records – FIXED

The reported issue of the Spousal Support Agreement/Modification date required when attempting to save a non-medical income record has been fixed.

 

Reminder: Entering ABAWD Time Limit Records

Even though work requirements for ABAWDS have been temporarily waived due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Time Limit records should still be entered in KEES according to the guidance listed in the table below. Batches in KEES have been temporarily shut off to allow ABAWDS to receive more than 3 months of Food Assistance in a 36-month period. Making sure Time Limit records have been entered correctly will help ensure data collection for ABAWDS is accurate when there is an end to the Public Health Emergency period and ABAWD months must be tracked and counted again. The current ABAWD period is 10/2022-09/2025. Make sure Time Limit records are added to the current ABAWD period.
