HCBS PIL Increase

An update was made to increase the HCBS PIL to $2,382. This will affect any EDBCs that are run for the benefit month of July 2021 and after.

 

Medical Processing Deadlines

Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2022 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.

 

 

Non-Medical Programs

 

P-EBT

P-EBT auto enrollment for children eligible for Child Care P-EBT and children who are direct certified for free or reduced price school meals occurred this past weekend. Direct certified means the child is already known to KEES because they received Food Assistance, TANF, or were in Foster Care during the 2020-2021 school year. These benefits will be issued to families beginning June 29th, and will be staggered by alpha.

Direct certified children or children eligible for Child Care P-EBT that could not be auto issued a benefit are being processed by a specialized fall out team. Only this specialized fall out team should be creating P-EBT program blocks or running EDBC for P-EBT in KEES as this time.
