If EDBC sets the program’s Review Due Date to a date that you believe is incorrect, please submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk. Please DO NOT change the RE Due Date in an attempt to force the RE Run Reason to populate in the Run Reason drop-down. Once a new Program Redeter Record has been created, the RE Run Reason is no longer needed.
To determine if a new Redeter Record generated, navigate to the Medical History page (click the View Details button in the program block, then click the View History button on the Medical Detail page) – look in the bottom section titled Program Re-Evaluation History.
In the example below, the program originally had an RE Due Date of 1/2024 (associated to Redeter ID 9090856).
You will notice next to that Redeter ID there is a Review Type of Pre-Populated Medical Review and a Completion Date of 04/16/2024. This means that Redeter ID has been closed out.
Now you will see that there is a new Redeter ID of 9549058 and it does not have a Review Type or Completion Date. This is the new record that was set when the review was processed. EDBC set the RE Due Date to 2/2025 but you can see here that someone changed it to 4/2024.
On 4/16/24 the Medical Reviews Discontinuance Batch ran EDBC for the benefit month of 5/2024 and used the RE Run Reason. This Batch will only Discontinue the program persons that were required to return a review. Any program persons who were not due for a review, will continue to receive coverage and the program’s RE Due Date will be reset to match the next person’s RE Due Date (in the case of Family Medical programs, this would be the next available CE End Date). This means if the person who was Discontinued for failure to return their review decides to return it, then the RE Run Reason is not needed. In the example below, the worker manually changed the program’s RE Due Date from 2/2025 to 4/2024 in an attempt to force the RE Run Reason to populate and in turn broke the case. This now requires a Help Desk ticket.
