An update to the HCBS Protected Income Limit (PIL) will be introduced into KEES this weekend. The HCBS Protected Income Limit (PIL) is increasing from $727 to $1,157.
A Batch will run in KEES this weekend to apply the new Protected Income Limit (PIL) on cases where HCBS is currently received. EDBC’s being ran for the month of 9/2019 or later for HCBS cases, will have the new Protected Income Limit (PIL). Staff should see a decrease in the share of costs for HCBS clients.

When a new Income Amount Detail page is being created and workers allow the auto end-dating logic to end date the existing Income Amount Detail page, KEES is automatically duplicating the Income Amount Detail page that it just end-dated and making the start date the day after the new Income Amount Detail was end-dated. Until this issue is resolved workers should apply the following workaround:
End-date the current Income Amount Detail page before creating a new Income Amount Detail page.
