A build is scheduled for this weekend. Below is a summary of what is included in the release as well as any workarounds that will no longer be necessary.
Data Collection:
The Contact Summary page has been fixed to show an email address recorded for any person on the case, not just the Primary Applicant.
The Medical Condition Detail page has been fixed so that staff can now end date SSI and 1619B records.
The Buy In Deletion Report will be available to eligibility staff on the 14th of each month. The Buy In file will be sent to CMS early on the morning of the 21st. This means the Buy In Deletion Report will need to be completed by 5:00 PM on August 20, 2019. Any cases newly authorized between the 14th and the 20th that qualify for immediate buy in, or cases that need the deletion to be removed from the CMS file, will need to have an email sent to the DXC Buy In team no later than 2:00 PM on the 20th so they can be manually processed. ksxix-buyin@dxc.com
Data Collection:
The LTC Data Detail page has been fixed so that you can correctly edit the Spouse or Dependents of LTC Members
NOAs/Forms:
The issue related to not being able to generate Form KC5820- Child in Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility Temporary Stay- Consumer Notice has been resolved. Staff should be able to generate and save the form.
The following NOA fragments Z-5 and K-M50 should now populate with the correct end date when a consumer is discontinued for being deceased.
Z-5: “We have ended <variable = program type> for the following individuals: <variable = persons on the program>. The last day of coverage is <variable = effective date of discontinuance>.”
K-M50: “We have been informed of the death of <variable = deceased person>. We express our sympathy at this time. If this action is based on incorrect information received by this agency or if you have questions, see contact information below. All medical assistance will be closed effective <variable = effective date of discontinuance>.”
EDBC:
The rules have been fixed so that EDBC will now correctly allow a grandparent to apply on behalf of their grandchild when the grandchild’s parent is in the home.
Workflow:
The issue related to Barcoded Reviews not generating the downstream task when imaged has been resolved. The downstream tasks needed to alert staff to Reviews should now be generated.
The issue related to the Document Type of Returned Mail-No FWD Address PR Letter not generating the downstream End Coverage- Program task has been fixed. The task should now generate when this Document Type is used.
KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2020 can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
Data Collection:
Staff should no longer receive a zero error when attempting to save countable annuity income. Staff no longer need to select an Income Category of Miscellaneous with an Income Type of Countable All Programs as a workaround.
Forms:
Issues with the V006: Unreported Income Verification Request form and the V801: Case Transfer Notice form have been fixed. Standard copy and paste text is no longer needed as a workaround.
Recovery Accounts:
The Overpayment Detail page has been fixed for External Recovery Accounts to allow records to be edited or removed by staff who have the appropriate security access.
TANF:
The issue around 1700 errors when running EDBC for TANF has been fixed.
