As part of the August 2020 Release, Child Care rules were updated to look for a Child Care plan to determine the child(ren)’s Role and Role Reason at EDBC. Due to this update, when staff run EDBC to check the household’s financial eligibility prior to creating the Family plan, the EDBC will Fail for No Eligible Members when no Child Care/Family plan exists.
If the Household is over income for Child Care, cancel the EDBC and complete Negative Action using the Reason Not Eligible – Other Reasons, then append the NOA if needed to include the reason of Your household income exceeds the allowable income limit.
