Saturday 9/21: 8am-8pm
Sunday 9/22: 12pm–6pm (September Release)
A build is scheduled for this weekend. Below is a summary of what is included in the release as well as any workarounds that will no longer be necessary.
The Buy In Deletion Report will be available to eligibility staff on the 14th of each month. The Buy In file will be sent to CMS early on the morning of the 21st. This means the Buy In Deletion Report will need to be completed by 5:00 PM on August 20, 2019. Any cases newly authorized between the 14th and the 20th that qualify for immediate buy in, or cases that need the deletion to be removed from the CMS file, will need to have an email sent to the DXC Buy In team no later than 2:00 PM on the 20th so they can be manually processed. ksxix-buyin@dxc.com
The issue with the journal action buttons not displaying when a user navigates back to the Journal List page from the Journal List Options page has been fixed. Staff should expect to see all the journal action buttons (Add Entry, Append, Suppress, Edit, Copy, and Transfer).
The issue with the RE Due Date changing to an incorrect date during an EDBC override has been fixed. The RE Due Date should now display correctly, when completing overrides.
Regarding TMD issues: An interim solution has been implemented in KEES to lessen and prevent overrides for TMD. This process will allow EDBC to give TMD for consumers more often, even though they may not be eligible. When consumers are ineligible for TMD, workers will be directed to use Customer Options to avoid giving TMD coverage incorrectly. WA522 will be updated to reflect this change and remove the majority of the override processes.
The issue with staff not being able to see the Medical Expenses hyperlink on the Medically Needy EDBC page has been fixed. Clicking on the below highlighted hyperlink will navigate the staff to the EDBC Person Line Item Detail page, where they can see the expenses applied to their Medically Needy spenddown.

The issue with the HUB-SSA and SSA-SVES verification choices not greyed out on Verification Detail Page has been fixed. Staff will no longer be able to select HUB-SSA and SSA-SVES from the Verification Detail Page.
The issue with the Tax Detail page not allowing users to add a tax dependent and giving an error message indicating the dependent is already claimed has been fixed for applications that were submitted via the SSP. Users should now be able to add tax dependents to the Tax List page correctly.
The issue where staff are unable to reapply consumers with an Active FRI status has been resolved. Staff will now be able to reapply consumers with an Active FRI status.
KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2020 can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
The Reporting Type Code on EDBC for IRs and 12 Months Reports was not being set correctly by KEES on old Food Assistance cases that were converted and then later reapplied for approved benefits. As a result, KEES did not know which type of IR form to send to the client. This issue has been fixed.
E-Applications submitted from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) were mapping in with a Federal Hub citizenship/ID record on the Citizenship/Identity Detail page in error. This issue has been fixed.
Issues with the F832: FA Repay Agreement for Agency/Consumer Error have been fixed. The standard copy and paste text workaround no longer needs to be utilized.
The workaround of running EDBC for Foster Care and Medical together to get the FCM aid code when both the Foster Care and Adoption Subsidy Program Blocks are Active will no longer be required.
DCF Processing Deadlines – Fiscal Year 2019 can be found on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures.
