The Appriss Report is worked by a small group of KDHE Staff and indicates when a person has been incarcerated or released. The information on the report is received from correctional facilities who choose to communicate and participate in the process. Information from the Appriss Report is entered on the Living Arrangement page by KDHE Staff. Due to these updates being made, an additional scenario and communication protocol is being added to ensure communication across agencies remains. The KEES User Manual will be updated.
KDHE should create a Contact Log Entry within the context of the NON-MEDICAL case in the scenarios outlined in the chart below. KDHE should select the DCF location based on the Worker ID assigned to the program block(s). See the attached DCF Worker ID Code Table.

Reminder: The EBT Undeliverable Card – Check Address task does not always generate for the correct case number. Staff should use the Client ID provided in the task details to determine the correct case number and reassign the task to the correct case number.
