Adding a New Person to a Denied/Discontinued Program Block

When Staff add a new person to a case and want to register that person to an existing Denied or Discontinued Program Block, Staff should use the Reapply button to add them to the program. An issue has been discovered with using the Add button to add the person to the program when the program is currently Denied or Discontinued. The Add button is not properly reopening the Program Block. Until this issue is fixed, Staff should not be using the Add button.

Zero Error During eLinking

The KEES Help Desk had been receiving reports that Staff would sometimes receive a zero (0) Error during the eLinking process. When this occurred, the Case Number would not be passed back to the Intake/Registration task. We believe we have this issue fixed. If Staff are still seeing this issue, please submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk.

Note: The 1001 Error Medical Staff have reported receiving when attempting to eLink a FFM eApplication to a second case number is a different issue that is still being looked into.

Work Programs

When Work Programs Staff need to update a Denied or Discontinued WP Program Block, they should update the Program Status BEFORE completing the Work Registration. Doing so will prevent staff from receiving a 1015 Error that will have to be sent to the KEES Help Desk for a data fix.  This process will be updated in the KEES User Manual shortly.

  1. From the WP Status List page, select the consumer’s name from the drop-down. Click the View button.

  2. Click the Add Status button from the Program section. The WP Status Detail page displays.

  3. Select Active from the Status drop-down. Select the appropriate reason from the Status Reason drop-down. Enter the TANF application date as the Begin Date. Click Save and Return.

  4. Click the Add button from the Work Registration section. The Work Registration Detail page displays.

  5. Select Mandatory from the Registration Status drop-down. Enter the TANF application date as the Begin Date. Click the Save and Return button.

Non-Medical Processing Deadlines

DCF Processing Deadlines – Year 2021 have been updated and can be found on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures and in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
