Updates to the Medical KEES User Manual

The following is a summary of revisions that have been made to the Medical KEES User Manual for the month of October:

 

·       Medical Condition

The user manual has been updated with revised instructions on adding a disability Begin Date to a Medical Condition record.

 

·       RDB Instructions

The user manual has been updated with instructions on how to request an addition to the Resource Databank.

 

·       Generating a TIAR form

The user manual has been updated with instructions on how to generate and send the V777: TIAR form. This information can be found under Forms and NOAs section of the user manual.

 

·       Workaround WA550 Added

Currently there is a known issue where a child(ren) may receive CTM coverage in error. This may occur at the time of application. Children should only receive CTM coverage when there is a caretaker in the home who is actively receiving CTM Coverage. Workaround WA550 has been added to the user manual to provide processing instructions when staff encounter this issue. Note: This workaround is not applicable in situations where Continuous Eligibility (CE) has been invoked for the child(ren) and they should remain eligible under CTM coverage.

 

·       Working Healthy Premiums

The user manual has been updated to include instructions on how to process a Working Healthy Prior Medical request with a Premium Increase. For Working Healthy, to allow for an increase in premium amounts between each Prior Medical month, or between the last Prior Medical month and the month of application the WKH Desk Review Run Reason should be used.

A list of Question and Answers from the KEES October Release Training have been added to the user manual.

 

·       KEES Release PPTS Added

Power Point presentations from the October 2019 KEES Release Training have been added to the user manual.
