On PE Medical applications, when the applicant selects I am signing this application on behalf of myself and my dependents, the following statement is incorrectly populating on the PDF: I am signing this application on behalf of someone for whom I have no legal relationship. When this line populates, staff will need to verify the name on the Signature line matches that of the Primary Applicant. Per direction from KDHE, the signature is considered valid if it is identifiable as that of the applicant. Staff should journal that due to a KEES defect, the statement “I am signing this application on behalf of someone for whom I have no legal relationship” appears on the PDF in error and that the signature is valid for processing purposes.
