When a consumer lives in an apartment complex, the Address Normalization Tool will sometimes add the name of the apartment complex to the normalized address. When this occurs, staff should select the User Entered address rather than the normalized address. Using the normalized address in this instance can create issues for the vendor that DCF uses to generate their EBT cards. Adding the apartment complex name to the address may cause it to exceed the character limit their vendor can accept (therefore causing it to error).
