Reviews Discontinuance Batch

The Reviews Discontinuance Batch will run 11/15/2024 for reviews that are due in October 2024. Staff will see closures for Failure to Return Review.

 

KEES not Giving Non-MAGI (SSI & 300 aid codes) Programs a Full 12-Month CE Period

We are aware that KEES is not establishing a CE Period when approving SI Medical (with or without a level of care) or Long-Term Care coverage (300 aid code). This has been noted for both new coverage requests and case maintenance changes. Please submit a KEES Help Desk ticket if you encounter this issue.  

 

Reminder - Staff should always verify that the correct CE Period is established for children through their 19th birthday when running EDBC for both MAGI and Non-MAGI programs.

KanCare Proactive Communications Schedule

The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar has been updated on 09/20/2024 to include the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.

LIEAP Outreach Notices

The LIEAP Outreach Batch ran in KEES last weekend. This batch generates a form that is sent to last year’s LIEAP recipients who did not receive an auto issued benefit, and tells them they can apply online beginning Monday, November 18th. The LIEAP Outreach form is displaying in Distributed Documents as well as the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) message center for consumers who have a SSP account.
