Passive Reviews at Discontinuance Batch - Reminder

When the Discontinuance Batch runs and a beneficiary has received a Passive Review, but the household received a Pre-Populated Review, the batch is only discontinuing the beneficiary(ies) who was/were determined Pre-Populated. The beneficiaries who were determined Passive at the individual level will be Passively Reviewed. Income will be updated via a data fix into KEES for Passive Renewals. The data fix will use the TALX income amount if present and greater than zero. If no TALX amount is available, then the data fix will use the KDOL amount from the Reasonable Compatibility Determination. Since the income was updated through an automated approach, eligibility workers will no longer need to request income from the beneficiary(ies). If the Pre-Populated review was returned to the Clearinghouse, but not yet processed, then eligibility staff will need to process the renewal using normal business processing.
