Updates to the LIEAP No Touch BOT:
Several updates have been made to the LIEAP No Touch BOT to improve functionality and expand the capabilities. Enhancements include:
Integrating with the tracker to allow the BOT to add tasks to the tracker when an application is ready for processing
Teaching the BOT to unhide hidden people and register them if they are included on the LIEAP application
Auto accepting address changes for LIEAP e-Applications, except for children in Foster Care
Completing auto-reassignment of worker IDs. (This functionality will also allow staff to use auto worker assignment when re-assigning a worker ID for FA, TANF, or CC)
Removing the Process LIEAP Application task that is generated from imaging LIEAP applications.
In addition to these registration updates, the BOT will now attempt to process LIEAP e-Applications. If the application falls out of the process at any point the BOT will create a journal entry to let staff know where to pick up the application and will add a task to the tracker. LIEAP e-Applications will fall out of processing at the following points:
When an out-of-state physical address is reported
If there is a change in last name on Individual demographics
If one or more applicants are not “deemed income eligible”
If there is a change to the Energy Information Detail page that will increase the benefit or require new verification
If there is a change in energy vendors or if the energy vendor is not active in KEES
If there are people on the application with an Out of the Home Household Status in KEES or the household size changes benefit matrix groups
If there is a guardian or conservator
If there is a denial at EDBC in some scenarios
ABAWD Changes to Support the Fiscal Responsibility Act Phase 1:
This change adds the new upper limit of the ABAWD age requirements to KEES as a variable so it can be updated without a release in the future. With this change, rules and the ABAWD Time Limit Batch will begin using the new ABAWD age.
Task Logic Enhancements:
Several tasks are impacted by this update including:
Adding the reason why TANF was discontinued to the WP Status Change task for Career Navigators
Creating a Spenddown Met task for Food Assistance
Routing the EBT Undeliverable task to the most recent case
Adding FAET/WP as recipients to:
Child Care Batch EDBC does not mat the Family Plan
Transportation Allowance Payment Error
Pregnancy Overdue
Enhanced Rate Determination
Adding FAET as a recipient to tasks that WP is already receiving, including KDHE Verify Date of Death, KDOC Verify Incarceration and Person’s Medical Closed
Updates to the SSP Review Link:
With this release, the IR/12-month report SSP link will continue to display the month after the IR due month so that consumers can submit an IR/12-month report instead of a new application from the SSP. In addition, logic was added to suppress the link once the report or review is completed in the SSP, or if a paper form is received in KEES.
Updates to Support the Expanded FAET Mandated population from 50-59
This change updated the language on the W504: Request for Good Cause form to reflect the new E&T mandatory population. In addition, it updates the logic in the Food Assistance ABAWD and Work Eligible Batch. This batch generates a reminder task to Career Navigators when Food Assistance has been active for more than 15 days and there is not a FAET Program Block active in KEES.
Updates to P-EBT:
Updates have been made to support the Supplement P-EBT issuance for the 2022-2023 school year.
