Friday 12/9: 6am – 9pm
Saturday 12/10: 4pm – 9pm
Sunday 12/11: 6am – Monday 9pm
A build is scheduled for this weekend. Below is a summary of what is included in the release as well as any workarounds that will no longer be necessary.
Hot keys functionality has been added on Task Inventory, E-Application Search, and ACSSP Registration Search pages. This allows staff to utilize the Tab and Enter buttons on their keyboard to execute a search.
RE Due Date
The RE Due Date will display on the EDBC Summary page in the Program Configuration section when EDBC is ran for any month.

The Medical SSP and PE Portal will display the following soft validation when multiple tax filing types are selected for a single person. “Error! A person cannot have more than one tax filing type.”
KEES will send messages to the consumer in the preferred method the consumer selects when setting up the SSP account. They can either receive messages via text and/or email.
KEES will now allow an end date of up to 13 months in the future for the following pages.
Expenses Amount Detail
Expenses Contributor Detail
Staff will receive the following error message when trying to add an end date more than 13 months in the future. “Error! End Date- Date cannot be more than 13 months in the future.”
The Medical SSP and the PE Portal will now display the following Error message to the consumer when they try to enter an SSN that was entered for another person on the application. “The Social Security Number entered has already been entered for <Person>.”
TIAR Form (V777) has been updated based off policy updates.
Page 1 now has a fillable section where Name of the claimed tax dependent is entered
Two new pages allow the consumer to add additional information about deductions
V777 is now able to be sent out in Spanish.
No Touch will now check to see if a consumer is on an Active Medical Program Block with a person status of Active or Pending, or on a Pending Medical Program Block with a person status of Pending.
No Touch will now check to make sure the PA on the e-app is an adult (18 or older or under 18 and married).
No Touch will now screen all consumers on a newly submitted e-app for a Denied or Discontinued status on any Medical Program Block 45 days from the date the e-app was received. If a person has fallen out of the No Touch process due to one of these status reasons, KEES will generate an Intake task for registration staff to process. This update will help cut down on cases being created in error when consumers submit an e-app in place of their review.
Blank determination in PE Portal
The PE Portal will no longer show a blank determination in error.
Non-Med information shown on Medical PDF
Medical PDFs will only show Medical information and will not contain Non-Medical information.
No Touch RC Test
The reported issue of No Touch approving benefits when wages were found on RC test has been fixed.
No Touch Pregnancy Record
The Reported issue of No Touch creating a second pregnancy record has been fixed.
No Touch FFM eApp with incorrect date
The reported issue of an FFM eApp getting registered with two people on the program with different application dates has been resolved.
Medical Condition Page
Previously consumers who are reported being Aged, Blind, or Disabled were not able to complete an application. When presented with the question “Does anyone have a medical condition or emotional problem as a result from an accident or Injury?” and they answered “No”, they were forced to answer the Medical Subrogation questions. This has now been fixed and the consumer will only be required to answer the Medical Subrogation questions when they answer “Yes” to the “Does anyone have a medical condition or emotional problem as a result from an accident or Injury?”

No Touch has been set up to 'fall out' of the process at EDBC. This change occurred when the November 2022 Release was loaded to Prod on 11/19/22. |
This has been mentioned in the 11/23/22 KEES Dispatch--see below for more details. |

At this time, the base product that KEES is built from doesn't have this ability. |

Add New Program
Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2023 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
Adding TANF Time Limits
KEES has been modified to allow the ability to add TANF months from another state even if there is not a TANF Program Block on the Case.
Customer Appointment Attendee Drop-Down Menu
The Attendee drop down menu on the Customer Appointment Detail page has been modified to no longer display minors or case members with a Household Status of Added in Error. This modification prevents
minor children or persons created in error from being selected for an interview.
ES-1627a: Request for Enhanced Child Care Rate Form
The enhanced rate on the ES-1627a form has been updated to $7.25.
Food Assistance Medical Expense NOA Snippet
The medical expense snippet that appears in Food Assistance approval NOAs has been updated to outline who may qualify for a standard medical deduction (SMD) and provide examples of what types of expenses
may qualify.
Future Dated Records
KEES has been modified to allow staff to enter ABAWD records up to 7 months in the future. Prior to this release, workers were only able to enter ABAWD months 5 months into the future. This was inconvenient because there are 6 months between the Application and IR, or IR and Review. Depending on when the case was processed, staff were only able to enter 4 or 5 of those monthly records and would have to set a task to set the remaining months. With this system change, staff will be able to enter ABAWD month records up to 7 months in the future. This will allow the worker to enter all the way up to the next planned case touch (either the IR or Review). Hint - even though there are only 6 months between each IR/Review, the 7th month accounts for our processing month.
In addition, KEES has been modified to allow staff to enter TANF Time Limit records for Hardship up to 13 months in the future and end date Expense records up to 13 months in the future.
Re Due Date on Multi-Month EDBC Summary
KEES has been modified to display the Re Due Date on all EDBC Summary pages when using Multi-Month EDBC instead of just one. Due to an existing defect, staff should not use Multi-Month-EDBC until notified all issues have been fixed. It has been discovered that not only is KEES is not setting the FA Review Due Date properly when Multi-Month EDBC is utilized, but the benefits don’t issue either. Staff can find impacted cases on the Skipped Issuance Report to issue a benefit. A weekly data fix is being completed on the impacted cases to correct the Review Due Date. Help Desk tickets for this issue are no longer needed.
Calculate Button on Child Care Detail Page
The Child Care Detail page was requiring workers to click the Calculate button for each month of the Family Plan. This issue has been fixed so staff only need to click the button once to calculate the entire Family
Plan.
Unable to Enter Absent Hours on the Activity Progress Detail Page
The Activity Progress Detail page has been fixed so that absent hours can now be entered.
Zero Error on Activity Progress Detail Page
The Activity Progress Detail page has been fixed so that staff no longer receive a zero error when saving the page.
