Reviews Discontinuance Batch

The Reviews Discontinuance Batch will run 12/18/2024 for reviews that were due in November 2024. Staff will see closures for Failure to Return Review.

 

Please note:

 

When the Medical Reviews Discontinuance Batch runs EDBC for the benefit month, it uses the RE Run Reason. This Batch will only discontinue the program persons that were required to return a review. Any program persons who were not due for a review or passively eligible, will continue to receive coverage and the program’s RE Due Date will be reset to match the next person’s RE Due Date (in the case of Family Medical Programs, this would be the next available CE End Date). This means if the person who was discontinued for failure to return their review decides to return it, then the RE Run Reason would not be needed and will not be available.

 

Medical Processing Deadlines – Change for January Eligibility

The KMMS monthly file for January eligibility will be sent to Gainwell earlier than normal this month.  The file will be sent the night of December 18, 2024, instead of December 19, 2024.

The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar was updated on 12/09/2024 to include holidays for the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.
