It was discovered back in August 2021 that on the Medical Self-Service Portal, applicants that do not meet the aged, blind, disabled, or residing in a facility criteria are not being presented with the follow up questions shown below when requesting Prior Medical coverage. What this means is that there will be no indication for MAGI only applicants of changes in Prior Medical months. Until this can be resolved, when a MAGI applicant has requested Prior Medical coverage, and there are no follow up questions on the application, staff will need to contact the consumer via phone or mail, to obtain the needed information. It is no longer necessary to report the issue of the SSP Application not displaying the Prior Medical follow-up questions to the KEES Help Desk.
