The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar was updated on 12/09/2024 to include holidays for the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.
If a student is working at least 20 hours a week through employment (not self-employment), but making less than minimum wage, KEES is determining the person to be UP- Ineligible Student. This is incorrect, as per policy, the minimum wage requirement only applies to Self-Employment. As a work around, staff should remove the status detail record on the School Attendance page.
