Zero Error Received Clicking on Older RC Records

Any Reasonable Compatibility records that were created prior to last Sunday’s build will generate a zero error when staff click on the record to view it. The KEES Help Desk is working with KDHE Policy to determine the appropriate direction to give staff. We will provide additional clarification shortly on how to proceed with these cases. If the details from the record generating the zero error are necessary for the current determination, please place the case On Hold until direction has been provided.

 

Income Call Reports Success but No Income Interface Results Returned

An issue has been discovered where some successful income interface calls are failing to return results from KDOLWAGES, KDOLUI, TALX, KPERS, and SDX; only SSA results are returned. This will also prevent the Reasonable Compatibility result from generating. Please report these cases to the KEES Help Desk and then follow the direction that was provided in the 2018-03-01 Policy Implementation Instructions and create a Manual RC Tool.

 

 

Income Call was Successful but No RC Result Generated

An issue has been discovered where some successful income interface calls are failing to generate a Reasonable Compatibility result. Please report these cases to the KEES Help Desk and then follow the direction that was provided in the 2018-03-01 Policy Implementation Instructions and create a Manual RC Tool.

 

 

Zero Income Records Not Found Reasonably Compatible (Clarification from 3/19 Dispatch)

Person with zero income reported and zero income found (on a successful interface call) are being marked as not reasonably compatible. We are recommending that staff manually mark these people as Verified on the Income Amount Detail so that case processing can continue.

An unsuccessful interface call can be determined by looking at the Real Time Interface History Detail. If KDOL and TALX response shows Request Failed, this means that the call was not made. If this is the case, the RC result does not meet the requirements for this process.

Comparable Penalty for Food Assistance

If a penalty/disqualification is imposed on a household or members of a household for failure to perform an action required under TANF, the same penalty/disqualification is applied to the Food Assistance Program on the member of the household who failed to comply with the TANF requirements if Food Assistance is Active at the time of the penalty/disqualification. See KEESM 2550 for more information. KEES is incorrectly applying a comparable penalty for Food Assistance if the program is not Active at the time of the TANF penalty/disqualification.  Use the guidance below until this is fixed :

  1. Screenshot the Eligibility Non-Compliance Detail page for reference.

  2. Manually remove the TANF Non-Compliance record from the Eligibility Non-Compliance List page.

  3. Run EDBC for Food Assistance only.

  4. Add the Non-Compliance record back to the Eligibility Non-Compliance Detail page.

 

P101: Child Care Provider General Form (Revised from 3/16/2018 Dispatch)

It was communicated in the 3/16/2018 Dispatch that the P101 form was fixed with the March Release. Unfortunately, staff continue to see issues with this form. The KEES Help Desk is aware that this form is not fixed and the defect has been re-opened.
