DCF Reviews and IR/12 month reports:

The Auto Closure when IR/12 Month or Review is Not Received Batch is scheduled to run next Friday night, September 15th. This batch will close September reviews and IRs which have not been received. The batch also automatically sends a discontinuance notice to consumers.  

 

Management should make working reviews and IR/12 month reports a top priority. This will ensure that only cases where a review/IR/12 month report has not been received are closed in the batch run.

‘Expedited FA Combined Application’ Document Type

This document type should not be used as it produces a task for both DCF and the Clearinghouse. It was designed for KEES as a means to image a combined Food Assistance and Medical application. Since this practice no longer exists, the document type should not be used. DCF should only use one of the following document types when imaging applications:

‘No Open Activity with TANF’ Task

KEES generates a task for the Work Programs queue when TANF is active and there has not been an Activity (known as a Component in KS Cares) assigned to a mandatory participant in the past 30 days. Due to issues with the weekly batch that generates this task, it was shut off. Issues with the batch have been resolved and it was turned back on last night. Any task that should have generated last week were generated last night in addition to this week’s tasks.

 

Workarounds:

P202: CC Provider Eligibility Notice

The P202 is generating with incorrect dates. Use the Standard Copy and Paste text below in the V808 until this issue is resolved. See Generating a Form in the KEES User Manual for guidance on how to generate the V808.

Child care subsidy benefits are authorized from <plan start date> to <plan end date>. You will be notified if these child care plans end prior to this date. Parents-Guardians-Caretakers are responsible to report certain changes within 10 days. Some changes may impact benefits.

Tasks Data Fix

The data fix for the tasks that are missing action buttons is scheduled to run tonight. One thing of note: Tasks that were previously assigned to a worker will now show as ‘New’ rather than ‘Assigned’; however, they will still be assigned to the original worker. Staff will need to check the Worker column on the Task Inventory page to see if the task is already assigned to another worker.
