Update to Standard Cut and Paste

A new fragment, Approval LTC – Spousal Impoverishment Information, has been added to the Elderly & Disabled tab. This fragment will be used when approving LTC with spousal impoverishment and will provide the consumer with information about their determination. This fragment will also inform the consumer they have 90 days from the date of approval to transfer countable resources to the community spouse.

Exempt Income Received via the Older Americans Act

Income received through the SER Corporation and the American Red Cross as part of the Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSS P) should be added to KEES using an Income Category of Earnings and a Type of WIA-Incentive or Training Allowance. See KEESM 6410 #45 for policy information regarding these wages.

Mass Payments for Employment Services Providers

KEES is not currently issuing payments to providers that are approved through the Mass Payment process.

Staff can continue to:

1. Issue payments as a single provider payment when the consumer to provider volume is low.
2. Utilize the Mass Payment page in KEES

NOTE: KEES will continue to run a data fix twice a month to get Mass Payments issued to Providers around the middle and end of the month until this issue is resolved.

Viewing Provider Payments in PARTS

We are receiving reports that Providers are unable to see detailed information of payments issued from KEES such as client names and individual payment amounts in PARTS. DCF IT is aware of the issue and working to get it resolved.
