A build is going into KEES over the weekend. Review the December Release Notes Summary for DCF functionality.

In addition to what is in the summary, the following workarounds are no longer necessary:

1. Child Care for Foster Care Children:

The child care rules have been updated to verify the family is receiving foster care payments for the child; and will fail with a reason of Gets Foster Care if they are receiving payment. Previously, KEES was only looking for a foster care program block. All staff should be able to process these cases without error and no longer need to use designated staff in their regions.

2. EBT Closure Date Must Be a Work Day:

Dates entered can now be a holiday or weekend.

3. FA Benefit Under $16 Minimum Allotment for Prorated Month:

Override EDBC no longer needs to be utilized.

4. Issuing Work Programs Payments for Consumers in Transitional Status

Work Programs program blocks no longer need to be updated to Active status prior to issuing a payment.

5. Mass Payments for Employment Services Providers:

A data fix is no longer needed to issue Mass Payments. Staff who enter Mass Payments for Work Programs, FAET and/or GOALS will need to select an Aid Code on the Mass Payment page. Only one aid code can be selected at a time. This means the selected aid code will apply to all payments entered on the page.

Aid Codes include:

• TAF Employment Svs: Use this to issue payments related to Work Programs services

• ET: Use this to issue payments related to FAET services

• GOALS: Use this to issue payments related to GOALS services

6. Rent Counted Twice When Added as an Actual Utility Expense

Actual utilities no longer need to be entered as a Rent expense.
