Notable Release Items for 07/16/2017

The following defects were resolved as part of the KEES release that will be implemented on Sunday, July 16th.  

 

Form/NOA

40855 - Zero error received when clicking ‘Save and Print Centrally’ on form V008. If you experience this issue again, please report it to the KEES Help Desk.

 

57940 - V008 missing first line of return address.

 

28593 - Individual approved for HCBS-FE with a liability - NOA is missing the resource limit.

 

57316 - MSP NOA displaying incorrect resource limit amount.

 

39808 - Fragments K-R79 and K-R67 populated in error on a denial for excess income.

K-R79 “This action was taken because you have other health insurance.” (Tied to BCC denials only.)

K-R67 “This action was taken because your household does not meet the requirements of the family medical program. In order to qualify for the family medical program you must care for a child under the age of 19 in your home or you must be pregnant.” (Tied to ‘No eligible child’ denials.)

 

57210 - Premium Billing Discontinuance NOA incorrectly shows current premium amount as $0.

 

Tasks

34576 - Voided ‘Review’ task and downstream ‘Process Review’ task still generated.

 

34631 - Error received when reassigning task - occurs when the case associated with the task has a sticky worker whose staff assignment has been end-dated.

 

34734 - Multiple tasks created for same case in same queue.

 

39119 - Two ‘Review’ tasks produced from imaging a review.

 

Data Collection

46758 - Error received on Resource List page when clicking Edit next to a new record when something other than a number was entered in the Face Value field.

 

56746 - Error received on Resource List page when clicking Edit next to a new record where the address entered on the SSP exceeded the 50 character limit of KEES.

 

Case Setup / Registration

55349 - Error received during e-Linking of application due to missing phone number type.

 

Verifications

55514 - Call to HUB failed to initiate for child due to end dated tax record.

 

EDBC

55710 - Strange code displayed in the Eligible column on the Individual Eligibility Criteria page.

 

57382 - Incorrect PIL for HCBS case due to hard coded personal need allowance.

 

Blue Cross Blue Shield Premium Adjustments

After the COLA Batch ran, KDHE temporary staff made updates to BCBS premium amounts for consumers receiving Elderly & Disabled medical assistance.  These updates were made using a report received from Blue Cross Blue Shield.  KDHE temporary staff were instructed to update the premium amount only, as they are not authorized to make eligibility determinations.  These updates were made with a Begin Date of 6/1/2017.  Policy has determined it appropriate for these expenses to be applied at the time of the next eligibility action which may not coincide with 6/1/2017.

 

Many of the consumers included on this report may have already provided verification of the change in their premium amount.  Consumers who have already reported the change in their premium should have a task associated to their case and the adjustment made following current policy.
