PA Not Displaying as Casehead (WA492)
There is a system issue that makes it appear as if the wrong person has been set as the Casehead after a new case number is created. This is a display issue only. When workers encounter one of these cases where the Casehead and the Primary Applicant do not match, completing the steps below will update the Casehead section.
Navigate to the Individual Demographics List page.
Click Edit next to the PA’s record.
Click the Save and Return button on the Individual Demographics Detail page (you do not have to update any information).
New Indicator Remains on Income After Data Acceptance is Complete
The New Indicator is remaining in Task Navigation next to Income even after data acceptance has been completed. Due to a system issue, the New Indictor will remain in Task Navigation until EDBC has been run, accepted, and saved. This only pertains to Income. If staff should encounter this issue on other data collection pages, it should be reported to the KEES Help Desk. Staff however do not need to report the issue pertaining to Income unless running EDBC does not remove the New Indicator.
Authorized Representative Reminder
When establishing an Authorized Representative through the Authorized Representative List page, please remember that Social Security Numbers should not be added. Only a name and address is needed.
Case Setup Reminder
All program blocks require the following information. If any of this information is missing, workers will encounter issues when running EDBC, sending Forms/NOAs, using the Request Verifications button, etc.
All program blocks should have a Primary Applicant/Recipient.
All Primary Applicant/Recipients should have a mailing address.
Worker Assignment must be completed.
Using the Back Browser button when in KEES
All staff are being asked to stop using the Back Browser button in Internet Explorer as a means of navigating back a page in KEES. The use of the Back Browser button is causing corrupt records to be created.
File Clearance/Registration Issue Found
It has been discovered that a small number of people newly created in KEES through the File Clearance process are becoming “stuck” rather than being populated in the MPI. When this occurs, staff will not be able to locate the newly created person through the Person Search process. This is only impacting approximately 16-20 people per day and a data fix is being run nightly to manually push them to the MPI.
When staff are unable to locate a person they just created, they should hold their case until the next morning. If at that time, the person cannot be located through a Person Search, it should be reported to the KEES Help Desk.
