ImageNow Printer for KAECSES Case (Email + Attachment)

 

  1. Access ImageNow.

  2. Left click the drop-down caret for the Applications button on the ImageNow Toolbar.

  3. Set KEES Case Non-Medical as the default application plan.  (See Setting Default Application Plan.)

  4. Navigate to the e-mail the worker wishes to capture.

  5. Click the File tab on the top left corner of the screen.

  6. Click the Print button. The Print Preview page displays.

  7. Select the ImageNow Printer under Printer drop-down menu.

  8. Click the Print Options.  The Print dialog displays.

  9. Click the “Print attached files.  Attachments will print to the default printer only” check box under Print Options.

  10. Click Print.
    NOTE:  The next two steps happen simultaneously.

  11. The ImageNow Print displays.  Select IN Printer – DCF Non-Medical as the desired capture profile.

  12. Click the OK button.

  13. The Opening Mail Attachment dialog box displays.  Click the Open button.

  14. The Enter Received Date dialog box displays with the current date auto-populated.
    NOTE: The Default Date is the current date and the user can manually change the date if needed.

  15. Click the OK button.

  16. The Proposed Keys dialog box displays and is auto-populated with Received Date and Unique ID.

  17. Enter the KAECSES Case Number and Case Name manually.
    NOTE:  Best practice is to copy the KAECSES Case Number into the ImageNow field.  Case Name needs to be identical to the way it is SPELLED in KAECSES.  The format the name should be entered into ImageNow needs to be First Name, Middle Initial, and then Last Name because that is how it is imported from KEES.

  18. Select the appropriate Document Type from the drop-down menu.

  19. Click the Capture button.

  20. Two ImageNow Viewers open in separate windows.

  21. Click the Submit buttons available on both ImageNow Viewer windows.
