Income - Data Acceptance

The Income List and Income Detail pages are used to add or change income records for a case. All income categories and types per individual are entered as separate records. Income is stored at the consumer level, so it will display on all other cases the consumer is on. Users must also select which program income should be applied to via the Display Program field. E-application income records will auto-populate with a Display Program of Family Medical. MIPPA income records will auto-populate with a Display Program of MIPPA. In most instances for income, the Begin Date should be the 1st of the application month unless the first income check was received within that month.

NOTE: KEES reads all income records on the MIPPA application for each individual on the case, including $0 records. This means that persons with a spouse on the application could have duplicated records. Remove any $0 income records after data acceptance is completed. If the record does not display a category or type, leave the record as is. See duplicated income information below for more information.

To add or update an Income record for a case person(s):

  1. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Open the financial data collection pages by clicking on the + beside Financial from Task Navigation. Select Income from Task Navigation. The Income List page displays.

  2. Click the Edit button for the case person where the New indicator is displayed. The Income Detail page displays.

  3. Information received through the e-Application may be newly reported, updated, or duplicated information.

NOTE: Newly reported income information is records from a new source or employer. Updated income information includes information reported on known sources or employers, but with updated income amounts. Duplicated income information is records reported for an already known source or employer with the same income amount.
