Protected Medical Groups

The Aid Codes for the Protected Medical Groups (PMG) are found in the Medical Aid Code table.  When a consumer has a PMG Aid Code, follow the instructions to correctly determine benefits.

To approve a consumer with a Protected Medical Group Aid Code in KEES the user needs to:

1. Create an Income Detail for each SSA Claim number.
2. Accurately record the Social Security Claim Number for each Social Security benefit on the Income Detail page.
3. Complete the Protected Medical Groups questions on the Social Security Income Detail page.
