Setting Default Capture Profile

 

Prior to scanning, set the default capture profile to the profile primarily used for the type of documents being scanned.  This ensures the highest efficiency and decrease the amount of required “clicks” when scanning a large volume of documents.

  1. Access Perceptive Content.

  2. Left click the drop-down caret for the Capture button on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.

  3. Right click the appropriate capture profile to set as a default. (Example: Package Mode)

  4. Left click the Set as Default Action option.

Description
Case Single Document Is utilized when a single document needs to be captured to a case.  NOTE:  DCF has decided not to use single mode capture profile at this time because Package Mode gives more flexibility.
Unknown Case Single Document - DCF Will be utilized when a single document needs to be captured for an unknown case DCF document.  NOTE:  DCF has decided not to use single mode capture profile at this time because Package Mode gives more flexibility.
Unknown Case Single Document - KDHE is utilized when a single document needs to be captured for an unknown case KDHE document.  NOTE:  DCF has decided not to use single mode capture profile at this time because Package Mode gives more flexibility.
DCF Non-Medical Single Document Will be utilized when a single document needs to be captured for a DCF Non-Medical document.  NOTE:  DCF has decided not to use single mode capture profile at this time because Package Mode gives more flexibility.
Package Mode Is utilized when a group of documents are captured at one time and separated out by document type in Perceptive Content.
Photo ID Will be utilized when a Photo ID needs to be captured to a case.  NOTE:  DCF has decided not to use Photo ID mode capture profile at this time because Package Mode gives more flexibility.
IN Printer - Case Utilize this profile for electronically printing documents that have a Case Number in KEES.
IN Printer - Case - PPS Utilize this profile for electronically printing PPS related documents that have a Case Number in KEES.
IN Printer - Case LIEAP Utilize this profile for electronically printing LIEAP related documents that have a Case Number in KEES.
IN Printer - Case No Task Utilize this profile for electronically printing documents that have a Case Number in KEES.  "No Task" will indicate that KEES will not trigger a task to be created for a user upon printing the document.
IN Printer - DCF Non-Medical Utilize this profile for electronically printing non-medical related documents and have a separate DCF managed Case Number.
IN Printer - Case Unknown Utilize this profile for electronically printing for documents that do not have a Case Number.
