Congratulations, your application for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) has been approved.
You have been approved for *BENEFIT AMOUNT*.
We will send a check in the amount of *BENEFIT AMOUNT*to you within 14 days. The check will help pay your energy costs included in your rent or paid directly to your landlord. It is against federal law for you to use the funds for anything else. If the check is cashed and used for any other purpose a referral will be made to the Fraud/Recoupment Office.
NOTE: If you have a current overpayment, your benefit will be reduced based on Kansas Economic and Employment Support Manual (KEESM). If you are subject to recoupment, you will receive a separate notice regarding the adjusted amount of your benefit.

Si se cobra el cheque y se utiliza para cualquier otro propósito, se derivará el caso a la Oficina de fraudes/reembolsos.
