Editing a Good Cause Record

  1. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation.  Select Noncustodial Parents from Task Navigation. The Noncustodial Parent List page displays.

  2. Click the Noncustodial Parent hyperlink for which the consumer is requesting Good Cause. The Noncustodial Parent Detail page displays.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. Click the View Good Cause button at the bottom of the page. The Good Cause Detail page displays.

NOTE: The Noncustodial Parent hyperlink displays based on the record previously selected.

  1. Update the value from the Claim Reason drop-down menu.

  1. Do not change the defaulted Worker ID.

  2. Click the Add button. The Good Cause Status Detail page displays.

  3. Select the appropriate value from the Status drop-down menu.

NOTE: When a status changes and requires an update, the record should be edited to close the existing Good Cause.  The user adds a status detail of Closed. When the value Granted is selected the Determination drop-down menu dynamically displays.  The values for the Determination drop-down menu are dependent upon which Status is selected.

  1. Enter the Status Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  2. Click the Save and Return button. The Effective Dating Confirmation List page displays.

  3. Review the dates for accuracy. Click the Save button. The Good Cause Detail page displays.

  4. Click the Save and Return button. The Noncustodial Parent Detail page displays.

  5. Click the Save button. The Noncustodial Parent List page displays.

  6. Journal the Good Cause Claim Reason.
