From the TOP Case Detail page:
Click the Claim Number hyperlink on the TOP Case Detail page. The TOP Claim Edit/Update page displays.
NOTE: The claim number hyperlink is also available on the TOP SSN Detail page.
The following values display:
Claim Number: The Case Number and Claim Number combined
Claim Date: The Date the Recovery Account Detail was created
Claim Type: The “Cause” on the Recovery Account Detail. Values are AI – Agency, AJ – Client and FR - Fraud
Repay Code: The Repayment Type BR – Benefit Reduction, EP – External Payment, and PR – Payment Reduction
Original Amount: The original amount of the Recovery Account
Balance Due: The amount currently owed for the overpayment
Delinquent Date: The date the claim became delinquent
Certification Date: The date TOP certified the claim
FNS Claim Status: This value is set by FNS, but can be edited by a worker.
TOP Claim Status: Users can change a value of I, C, X, or D to a Z – Archive status. Values of P, N, S, O, or E cannot be changed by a user. An M status is used to manually transmit the claim to FNS.
TOP Status Date: The date of the most recent change to the TOP status
J: This value is for a Judgement. The system populates a value of “Yes” if the Recovery Account Reason is Judgement.
O: This value is to override the TOP claim. The options are Yes or ‘blank’.
B: This value indicates Bankruptcy. If all Responsible Parties are bankrupt, a “Yes” displays under the B.
If needed, select a new status from the FNS Claim Status drop-down menu.
Z – Archive
A - Active
C - Closed
I – Inactive
X – Force Recertification
If needed, select a new status from the TOP Claim Status drop-down menu.
P - Initial
N - Notice Needed
S - Notice Sent
C - Certified
I – Inactive (previously certified)
O – Inactive (previously certified) FA Case Open
X - Closed
D - Deceased
E – Error
Z – Archive
M - Manual
If needed, select a value for the O drop-down menu. A Yes value indicates Override Claim.
