The Perceptive Content Printer allows users to capture and index an electronic document into the Perceptive Content system without having to print and scan as a hard copy first.
NOTE: User must be logged into Perceptive Content before using the Perceptive Content Printer. If printing with the Perceptive Content Printer and not logged into Perceptive Content, the following error prompts
If the majority of printing is done to the Perceptive Content printer, setting the Perceptive Content printer as the default printer ensures the highest efficiency and decreases the amount of required “clicks” when printing.
1.Click on the Start icon in the lower left corner of the monitor. The Start Menu displays.
2.From the Start Menu, click on Devices and Printers. The Devices and Printers window opens.
3.Find the Perceptive Content Printer icon and right click on it.
4.Select Set as default printer. The Perceptive Content Printer now displays with a green check mark to indicate it is the default printer. Close the Devices and Printers window.
