TANF Denial – Failure to Complete Self-Assessment and/or Orientation

When Used: When a TANF applicant is denied because the household did not complete/return the Self-Assessment Form and/or complete the Orientation Tutorial and submit the Certificate of Completion

Special Instruction:  Delete the KEES Generated TANF Denial NOA and use the V808.

Your application for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families has been denied.  The application was denied because the household did not cooperate with the following eligibility requirements:  complete/return the Self-Assessment Form and/or complete the Orientation Tutorial and submit the Certificate of Completion.  

If you submit the required documents within 45 days of the date that you filed your application, the agency will review your eligibility again.  You may not have to complete a new application.  You can get the Self-Assessment Form and/or Orientation Tutorial web address from any DCF office.

This action is based on Kansas Economic and Employment Services Manual.

Se ha denegado su solicitud de Asistencia Temporal para Familias Necesitadas (TANF).  La solicitud fue denegada porque el hogar no cooperó con los siguientes requisitos de elegibilidad: completar/regresar la Forma de autoevaluación y/o completar el Tutorial de Orientación y presentar el Certificado de Compleción.

Si presenta los documentos requeridos en el plazo de 45 días desde la fecha en la que presentó su solicitud, la agencia revisará su elegibilidad otra vez.  Es posible que no tenga que completar una nueva solicitud.  Puede conseguir la dirección web de una Forma de Autoevaluación y/o Tutorial de Orientación en cualquier oficina del DCF.
