When the Approved Child Status is updated KEES notifies EES Eligibility of the decision via task. This process must start within the context of the Provider Resource Detail. For more information on accessing the Resource Detail page, see Searching the Resource Databank.
Within the context of the relative child care provider Resource Detail, select Approved Children from Task Navigation. The Approved Children List page displays.
Click the Add button. The Approved Child Detail page displays.
Click the Select button under Child Name. The Select Person page displays.
Enter the Case Number for the child.
Click the Search button. All persons associated to the case entered display in the Search Results Summary.
Click the radio button for the child, then click the Select button. If the child is associated to multiple cases, the Select Case page displays.
Click the radio button for the appropriate case number, then click the Select button.
The Approved Child Detail page displays with the Child Name, Date of Birth, and Case Number populated.
Enter the discontinuance date as the Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Select Closed from the Status drop-down menu.
Click the Save and Return button. The Effective Dating Confirmation List page displays.
Verify the information is accurate, click the Save button. The Approved Children List page displays.
NOTE: It is necessary to complete the Adding Approved Children - Closed steps for each child included in the provider closure.
