A usable case number for PPS programs may contain:
PPS program blocks only:
PPS program blocks include: Foster Care, Adoption Assistance, or Medical with a Requested Medical Type of PPS or LTC.
Child must be the Case Head:
PPS programs are always on their own case number and the child is the only person on the case. The Case Head is the person displayed in the banner at the top of the page when the user is in the context of a case.
EXCEPTION: For Family Services and Adult Protective Services Vendor Payments, the PPS vendor payment block may be added to an ‘active’ EES Non-Medical case.
EES Non-Medical Program blocks include: Food Assistance, Diversion, TANF, FA E&T and Child Care. If a family or adult is not known to KEES, a new case should be registered. See Vendor Payments for further information.
