EDBC Warnings

 

When the user runs EDBC a “warning” message may display with information relating to the eligibility determination. There are four types of EDBC warnings:

 

 

Running EDBC Hard Warning

 A Hard Warning does not allow a user to run EDBC. The user must correct the issue before EDBC can be run.  Below is a list of Hard Warnings:

This error occurs when Rescind Without Review has been used prior to receiving the review and the review has now been received. If processing a review, the RE Run Reason must be used.

If the review has not been received, the Run Without Review run reason must be used. If Review has been received update the customer reporting record, then run with the RE run reason.

Medical: EDBC cannot be run for this program. A worker must be assigned to this program in order to run EDBC.

Override CE Period Hard Warning

 

A Hard Warning does not allow a user to Save and Return from the Continuous Eligibility Override Detail page as invalid data was entered. The user must correct the data or Cancel from the page. Below is a list of Hard Warnings:

When accepting EDBC and additional action is needed a soft warning will appear prior to running EDBC. Some examples include:

Accepting EDBC Hard Warning

A warning when attempting to Accept EDBC results which will not allow the user to Accept EDBC until the issue is resolved.  If a Warning is received, the user should click Cancel on the EDBC Summary page and Cancel on the EDBC List page to ensure the case is not locked.
