Social Security Administration (SSA)

The Federal HUB receives information from the SSA Composite web service. This interface is initiated in the “No Touch” process or is initiated by Using the Request Verifications Button.

Through the “No Touch” process, the SSA Composite can verify Social Security Numbers, Citizenship and Identity, date of birth (DOB), and can verify or create Social Security income records.

When initiating the SSA Composite interface call through the Request Verifications button, the Social Security Number, Citizenship and Identity can be verified and is indicated as such by the Verification fields on the data collection pages (and DOB). Income records cannot be verified or created when accessing the interface by using the Request Verifications button. The income can be verified if the amount matches exactly.
